ARCIS is an early-stage AI startup based in Munich, developed within the TUM / UnternehmerTUM ecosystem and supported through the German EXIST start-up programme. We are building an AI-supported decision layer for logistics teams. Freight companies still rely on fragmented systems, messy data, manual planning, and dispatcher experience. ARCIS helps them make better operational decisions across loads, vehicles, routes, capacity, and constraints. We are looking for a Founding GTM & Sales Associate to help us turn customer conversations into pilots, partnerships, and repeatable growth. This is a hands-on early-stage role at the intersection of sales, marketing, customer discovery, partnerships, and product feedback.
Project scope
- Identify and reach out to logistics companies, operators, and decision-makers
- Run structured customer discovery calls and understand operational pain points
- Help convert conversations into demos, pilots, and commercial opportunities
- Support founder-led sales with research, outreach, follow-ups, and CRM discipline
- Create sharp sales and marketing materials: one-pagers, emails, LinkedIn content, case studies, and pitch decks
- Turn customer feedback into clear product insights for the engineering team
- Help build ARCIS’s early brand in logistics, AI, and the Munich startup ecosystem
- Test different channels: LinkedIn, email, events, associations, referrals, and partnerships
- Help define the first repeatable go-to-market motion
Ideal profile
You combine strong communication skills with commercial instinct, and you can understand customer problems and explain technical products clearly. You are structured enough to track leads, follow up, and move deals forward, and confident enough to talk to founders, operators, managers, and technical stakeholders. High ownership, speed, and comfort with ambiguity matter more than years of experience. Professional English is required; right to work in Germany / EU or eligibility to obtain the required work authorization.
- Strong communication skills and commercial instinct
- Interest in B2B sales, startups, logistics, AI, or industrial software
- Strong writing skills for outreach, sales materials, and LinkedIn / content
- Structured working style: tracking leads, following up, moving deals forward
- Confidence speaking with founders, operators, managers, and technical stakeholders
- Nice to have: B2B sales, business development, marketing, consulting, or startup experience
- Nice to have: logistics, supply chain, transportation, mobility, or SaaS background
- Nice to have: German language skills
- Nice to have: CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, event-based sales
- Nice to have: ability to create simple visuals, decks, landing pages, or marketing content
- Nice to have: previous founder, student initiative, venture building, or startup ecosystem experience
